Thank you Mackenzie Mountain School

Back in January, the principal of the Mackenzie Mountain School, located in Norman Wells, Northwest Territories, replied to the email I sent to countless Canadian school boards, promoting my book and offering to speak with classes.

They ended up purchasing twenty copies of my novel so Megan, an elementary teacher at this school, could study my book in her class. Her students, aged 10 to 13, even had to complete an evaluation based on my novel. How cool is that?!

I also had an opportunity to interact with these students, present my writing and publishing experience with them, and answer some interesting questions—my favourite: Are you writing another book and when is it coming out? 😊
