It’s not because he’s hot—although that might be part of the reason, LOL—and it’s not because he’s a great actor. It's because I admire Leonardo’s dedication to securing a #sustainable future for our #planet.
Environmentalist
Did you know that Leonardo has been an active environmentalist for over 20 years? He dedicates a big part of his life to address some of our planet’s biggest issues, such as #climatechange, #ocean #conservation, and protecting #biodiversity. So much so, that in 2014, the United Nations designated him as a Messenger of Peace with a special focus on climate change.
Foundation
As stated by the WWF, Leonardo created the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation in 1998—at the age of 24. His foundation supports over 35 innovative conservation projects, and countless environmentally-focused organizations and initiatives.

A few months ago, I received an Insta invite from Leonardo himself. I couldn’t believe it! My bliss lasted about 5 seconds as I realized it was fake account. Since then, I’ve received more than a handful of fake Leonardo invites. So, be mindful of dummy accounts!
