As the 2025–2026 school year comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on the meaningful conversations I’ve had with students over the past several months. There is something uniquely energizing about stepping into a classroom or library and being greeted by curious minds ready to explore stories, imagination, and the creative process. Connecting with young readers is more than a highlight of my work—it’s a powerful reminder of why storytelling matters.
This year, I had the joy of visiting three remarkable schools: École secondaire Louis‑Joseph‑Papineau, École secondaire catholique Béatrice‑Desloges, and École secondaire Hormisdas‑Gamelin. Each visit brought its own spark—thoughtful questions, bold ideas, and students who weren’t afraid to dream big. Their enthusiasm reaffirmed why I love sharing the writing journey with young audiences.

Feeling grateful
To the organizers and educators who welcomed me so warmly, thank you. Your dedication to nurturing creativity and encouraging students to express themselves makes these visits truly meaningful. I’m grateful to have been part of your school communities this year.
Looking Ahead
As I look toward the coming school year, I’m already excited for the next wave of conversations, creativity, and connection. I can’t wait to meet more young writers, thinkers, and dreamers.
If your school or library is interested in hosting an author visit, I’d be delighted to connect and discuss presentation options. These sessions are a wonderful way to spark imagination and support students in discovering their own creative voices.
Wishing all students and educators a fabulous summer break.
