... and Why I’d Love to Visit Your School
Some of my most meaningful moments as an author have happened in classrooms and libraries—talking directly with students about creativity, storytelling, and the journey of publishing a novel. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I regularly present to middle and high school audiences, offering fun and insightful sessions that demystify the writing process and encourage kids to explore their own creative voice. Whether I’m explaining how a book goes from idea to print, or diving into the big themes behind my A Stellar Purpose trilogy—environmental protection, animal rights, social change—what I love most is the spark of connection when students realize they can do it too.

A Few Kind Words from Teachers and Librarians
“A deeply creative and needed novel. Belair has crafted her second novel in a way that touches the hearts of all readers and inspires them to change—just as the first one did.”
— Emily Keefer, High School English Educator
“I asked some of our oldest students to read and review A Stellar Purpose. The word they’re using to describe this book: Amazing!”
— Brigitte Ruel, Elementary School Librarian
“As the first book, this sequel opens our eyes to current environmental problems and reminds us of the importance of protecting our planet.”
— Myriam Thauvette, High School Librarian
“I highly recommend these books to those looking for thought-provoking stories challenging us to think critically about how we can also become awoken protectors who respond to the call for positive environmental stewardship and social change.”
— Sonia Rankin, Elementary School Teacher
